FieldDescriptionValidated Entry
[Table title]Name of monitoring programmeLiquid Discharges from Nuclear Installations (nuclear sector)
[ProgrammeDescription]Description of the monitoring programmeOSPAR has agreed a coordinated reporting programme for liquid discharges from Nuclear Installations (nuclear sector). Operational and decommissioning discharge data are reported for four nuclear sub-sectors; Nuclear Power Stations, Nuclear Fuel Reprocessing Plants,  Nuclear Fuel Fabrication and Enrichment Plants and Research and Development Facilities. Data are reported to OSPAR annually using an agreed reporting format. The data are published by OSPAR annually and are assessed in Periodic Evaluation reports.
[OtherPoliciesConventions]Monitoring for other Union legislation or international agreements that contributes to the programme.OSP-CEMP
